Stan Burgett – Founder / Executive Director
Stan Burgett and his wife Linda have shared a life of ministry and marriage since November 27, 1981. With a deep desire to share the Gospel, Stan founded the ministry in 1984 while serving as a Youth Pastor and Minister of Music. What began as a simple vision to reach their local community with the message of Jesus Christ became “He’s Alive” – The Passion Play of Denver.
Through prayer, dedication, and the work of many volunteers, the Passion Play touched countless lives. After a decade of presentations in Denver, it became clear that the message and format could be reproduced in communities far beyond Colorado. From that realization, a greater vision began to take shape.
In April 1996, the ministry expanded and became Passion Play Ministries International (PPMI). Stan and Linda, together with their son Tyler and many faithful friends, began building a ministry dedicated to sharing the story of Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection with people around the world.
Today, the Passion Play script has been translated into five languages, and thirty-two PPMI host communities have staged hundreds of presentations. Thousands of volunteer cast and crew members have faithfully served, helping reach more than one million people with the powerful message of the cross and the empty tomb.
The adventure continues. Stan’s passion today is to reach the next generation with the same life-changing message of God’s love, hope, and redemption through Jesus Christ—the message that continues to transform lives everywhere.

Bronwyne Scott
Chairman of the Board – Passion Play Ministries International
Director – He’s Alive Presentation, Cape Town
Bronwyne Scott serves as Chairman of the Board for Passion Play Ministries International (PPMI) and is the Director of the He’s Alive presentation in Cape Town.
She joined the ministry in 1998 when Stan and Linda visited Cape Town to share the vision of PPMI. As someone with a deep love for theatre, Bronwyne immediately felt a connection to the idea of combining drama with the message of Jesus Christ. “Theatre and Jesus—this is great,” she recalls thinking at the time.
Bronwyne has been involved in theatre for nearly 50 years, serving in many roles—from sweeping the stage to directing productions. Her experience spans community theatre in both Austria and the United Kingdom, giving her a deep appreciation for the power of storytelling and performance.
Her greatest joy in ministry is traveling to different cities around the world where PPMI presentations take place, helping establish and support the He’s Alive production in each location. Through this work, she has witnessed lives touched by the Gospel through drama and has built lasting relationships with people from many cultures and backgrounds.
Bronwyne believes that PPMI has changed her life in ways she never imagined. Through the ministry, she has encountered people who have deeply impacted her faith journey and enriched her life forever.
Garry Knight – Vice-Chairman of the Board
Garry Knight has played a pivotal role in the formation of the Passion Play of Las Vegas and continues to serve in ministry through his involvement with the Passion Play of Cape Town. As a Mathematics instructor with a special focus on Statistics and Logic, Garry brings a disciplined, analytical mind to his work. Guided by his faith, he prayerfully examines proposals and decisions from multiple angles, seeking God’s wisdom in every aspect of his service. His dedication to both truth and spiritual discernment reflects a commitment to using his skills to honor Christ in leadership and ministry.
Jenny Wilson – Treasurer
Jenny Wilson and her husband Lee and their two daughters have been a part of the Passion Play of the Four Corners for many years.
Linda Burgett PPMI Director of Operations
Linda Burgett is a Christian leader, entrepreneur, and media personality who serves as Executive Producer for Passion Play Ministries International, where she helps coordinate ministry operations, procurement, and travel. A successful business owner and national bestselling cookbook author, she previously hosted the County Cooking segment on Living the Country Life and co-hosted the Cross Connection radio show on Passion Radio Network for seven years. Linda is passionate about serving others and sharing faith, encouragement, and practical wisdom through ministry, media, and business. ✝️
Pam Bamba – Board Member
Pam joined the Passion Play of the Four Corners in 2019, bringing a heart for ministry and community engagement. That same year, she and her family traveled to Iligan City, Philippines, to help transition the ministry, reflecting her dedication to spreading the Gospel across borders. Since 2022, Pam has served on the International Board, guiding the organization with faith, vision, and a servant’s heart. She currently resides in Tucson, Arizona, where she continues to serve her community and support the mission of Christ through the arts and ministry.
